@89th I have absolutely no idea what you were talking about. 5555 Reminds me of the comedian Steve Martin joke *“Okay, I don’t like to gear my material to the audience, but I’d like to make an exception because I was told that there is a convention of plumbers in San Francisco this week – and I understand about 30 of them came down to the show tonight – so before I came out I worked-up a joke especially for the plumbers. Those of you who aren’t plumbers probably won’t get this and won’t think it’s funny, but I think those of you who are plumbers will really enjoy this, and uh…. So if you’re not a plumber, please, bear with me for a while and just kinda, you know, hold off on this, but I would like to do this for the plumbers. Here we go. “This lawn supervisor was out on a sprinkler maintenance job and he started working on a Findlay sprinkler head with a Langstrom 7″ gangly wrench. Well, just then, this little apprentice leaned over and said, “You can’t work on a Findlay sprinkler head with a Langstrom 7″ wrench.” Well this infuriated the supervisor, so he went and got Volume 14 of the Kinsley manual, and he reads to him and says, “The Langstrom 7″ wrench can be used with the Findlay sprocket.” Just then, the little apprentice leaned over and said, “It says sprocket not socket!”*

@Jolly @Jolly said in The man who shot Ashley Babbit: The people banging on the window, may or may not wish to physically harm you. LOL Based on the video (people smashing windows, etc.) you think that the group was pretty friendly and if they actually broke through, they would have given hugs and kisses to the police on the other side? 555 I dont think that anybody on the other side of the window/door from the mob would have thought that the mob were there for friendly purposes and if they made it through, there was no danger at all. If I had to put a % on it, I would say that 95% I was in danger, 5% they were friendly and would have given me a hug. I love you and your insights, but if you could take a step back, I think you could see that your TDS is showing. As you said here: You negate the threat. That means you shoot it until quits attacking. Sometimes that takes one shot. Sometimes it takes a lot more. https://nodebb.the-new-coffee-room.club/topic/4539/choot-em/11?_=1732634389860 Was she a threat? IMO, yes. If you dont think so, that is okay too. It is possible for both of us to be correct.

If that DOJ policy didn’t exist, they would have had to invent it. In the back of even the most TDS addled mind is the realization that that circus, during a presidency, makes the prosecutors look bad and Trump look good. And the people who elected him to do a job would be galvanized.

I should put a big caveat on my above posts - I don't know what the exact product was or how it was advertised. But the higher-than-market interest rates to me point to an investment being made, rather than a typical deposit account.

Once these North Korean soldiers see that there's a huge world outside of what they've been told by Dear Leader... Link to video They'll never go back to North Korea, probably ending up with an unpleasant life somewhere in far Eastern Russia.

My apartment that I had the last three years and the house I now bought each have a middle section with an elongated oval burner for just such a griddle. I just don’t have a use case for it. I don’t really make anything larger than will fit in a regular frying pan or grill pan.

I guess this will be # 188 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_films_featuring_Frankenstein's_monster A body of 187 films feature some version or interpretation of the character Frankenstein's monster, first created by Mary Shelley in her 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus. My local guys: https://www.redriverradio.org/ The national feed stuff is okay for some things, but the news is biased and the nationwide programs often are. Local stuff is usually better. Personally, I'd like to see the guys down south https://www.wwno.org/ merge with RRR. There's a lot going on in this state, that could be recorded and broadcast... Local symphonies, college concert bands, smaller college athketics, high school playoffs, bar bands, live music at festivals. They could partner with LPB and simulcast programs such as the governor's news conferences, local &state politics. I think they could do some more original stuff in talk shows/podcasts working with some of the college communications programs. And the national stuff would still exist. Maybe they could pick and choose. I'm just spitballing here...Trying to figure out how to keep the stations on the air with more local programming with a shoestring budget.
